Job Description
- Experience designing and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs
- Ability to write well documented code in languages such as Python, Java, SpringBoot, FastAPI etc
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written interactions.
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Proficient in data formats (JSON, XML) and export considerations (large datasets, formats)
- Understanding of API architectures security such as authentication mechanisms (basic, oauth2, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in polling, webhooks, and subscriptions
Roles and Responsibilities
- Incredibly exciting opportunity where you'll be in charge of the API platform's overall strategy and Framework development.
- Work closely with the stakeholders and team to translate business goals and product requirements into highly scalable back-end engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to define and deliver strategic and tactical roadmap planning.
- Overall management of API platform Lead discussions on architectural best practices, advise on API best practices and architecture decisions.
- Focus on delivery, execution, and overall management of API platforms.
- Drive towards an architecture that optimizes flexibility, re-useability, scalability, performance, availability, and is highly cost-effective.
- Develop quick POC to prove out concepts.
