Windchill Developer - PLM (5-15 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windchill Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions within the PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform. You will leverage your deep understanding of Windchill architecture, customization techniques, and programming skills (Java, JSP, JavaScript) to enhance and extend the platform's functionality to meet specific business requirements.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement custom Windchill solutions, including workflows, lifecycles, data models, and user interfaces.

- Customize Windchill using Java, JSP, JavaScript, and Windchill APIs.

- Develop and maintain custom Windchill components, such as Info-Engine tasks, server-side Java code, and client-side JavaScript.

- Configure and customize Windchill OIRs, workflows, and lifecycles.

- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Windchill reporting tools.

- Integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems, such as ERP and CAD systems.

- Provide technical support for Windchill users and troubleshoot issues.

- Perform Windchill system administration tasks, such as user management, security configuration, and performance tuning.

- Participate in Windchill upgrades and migrations.

- Document Windchill customizations and configurations.

- Gather and analyze business requirements for Windchill customizations.

- Design and develop technical specifications and documentation.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that Windchill solutions meet their needs.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

- Participate in the testing and deployment of Windchill customizations.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Windchill releases and technologies.

- Identify and implement process improvements for Windchill development and administration.

- Share knowledge and best practices with other team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Extensive experience in Windchill customization and development.

- Deep understanding of Windchill architecture and data models.

- Proficiency in Windchill APIs and customization techniques.

- Experience with Windchill workflows, lifecycles, and OIRs.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java.

- Experience with JSP and JavaScript.

- Understanding of web development concepts.

- Experience with Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, or other Windchill modules.

- Experience with Windchill integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).

- Experience with Windchill reporting tools.

- Knowledge of CAD systems (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with Windchill performance tuning.

- Experience with Windchill installation and configuration.

- Experience with Windchill upgrade process.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience in Windchill customization and development.
