Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce and Go To Market Partner Ecosystem experience essential)
Mimecast is looking to hire a Business Systems Analyst. This position will be part of our global IT organization focusing on Sales and Channel GTM technology and teams.
As a Business Systems Analyst specializing in Sales and Channel Technology, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions within our organization. Your primary focus will be on analyzing, designing, and implementing systems and processes that support sales and channel functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and leverage technology to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and growth in sales and channel operations.
What You ll Do:
Collaborate with business partners and Product Owners to document current processes across the spectrum of systems and solutions.
Take and translate business requirements and turn them into deliverables to the development team.
Map break down high level business problems into specific questions which can be answered through analysis.
Partner with global internal teams and departments across the business.
What You ll Bring:
Strong understanding of sales processes, channel management, and related technologies (e.g., CRM, PRM, CPQ, Partner Portals).
Be knowledgeable about industry best practices in Sales and Channel routes to market.
Experience with Salesforce CRM and related applications preferred.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation techniques.
An ability to run discovery sessions with business stakeholders to analyze requirements for project work and change requests.
A knack for authoring key documents, including business requirements, business process flows, use cases, training guides and various other documents.
Understanding of how to leverage systems and other tools (Excel, etc...) to effectively analyze data to document and support business cases for changes or to identify opportunities for improvement.
Assistance with investigations and analysis of complex support escalations.
Running refinement sessions with architecture to build out tickets to the point of ready for development.
Experience drafting documents acceptance criteria and test scenarios for requested work.
Working with stakeholders in the business to ensure that user stories are clearly defined, refined, and approved for deployment.
Ownership to implement small BAU system changes (configurations), following standard IT Change/Release management process.
