This role will be a key support to the Head Legal - Transactions by providing advice and independently managing a wide range of legal activities including M&A and business collaboration transactions. The role will involve drafting, reviewing, negotiating and commenting on legal transactions & documents.
Responsibilities :
1. Drafting, reviewing, negotiating key transactional documents for diverse transactions including merger and acquisition, joint venture agreements, business collaborations, control of due diligence and managing other business projects.
2. Identifying key legal issues and ensuring that the concerns of the business team and external counsels are streamlined to achieve the desired results
3. Liaising with various internal stakeholders (Business, Finance, Taxation teams) to ensure timely closure of agreements and advising on contractual mandates and compliances.
4. Drafting, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and transactions executed by the company with no legal exposure to the company.
5. Analyse a broad range of complex laws and regulations affecting the operations of the Company including those arising from new business propositions and highlight risks and propose solutions ensuring legal compliance.
Experience :
- 8-10 Years. At least 5 years' experience in a law firm with M&A and Funding profile.
- Well versed with mergers & acquisition, drafting & documentation. M&A exposure is a must-have, ideally experience in end-to-end process for conglomerates/ diversified group of companies
