Civil & Structural Engineer

MEIP (MHI Engineering and Industrial Projects), a Group Company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan

(www.mhi.com, www.mhieip.com) engaged in Fertilizer, LNG, Petrochemical business is hiring candidates for

the following position with experience in Proposal / FEED/EPC of Fertilizer/ Petrochemical/ Refinery plant for

Qualification: Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Full time) from a recognized reputed institute with good academic records

Experience: 10 to 15 years in Proposal, FEED Detailed Engineering projects of Oil Gas projects. Additional experience

of Fertilizer, Methanol CDR etc will be preferred

Preferred Age: 30-35 years

Detailed 1) Hands-on experience in Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete and General Civil Works.

2) Knowledge of Buildings Shelters works will be preferred.

3) Design experience of following items is required

- Steel RCC pipe racks; Technological structure.

- Steel connection design using AISC;

- Cable Pipe trenches; AOC layout calculation; Manhole Catch basin etc.;

- Architectural details of industrial buildings steel shelters etc.

Knowledge of Codes: American (AISC, ACI ASCE must), Indian, European (added advantage)

Must have experience in the Proposal, FEED and Detailed Engineering projects of Oil Gas Projects.

Candidates with additional experience in Fertilizer, Methanol CDR etc. will be preferred.

Candidate should have knowledge of working in the multi discipline project team setup and be aware

of document flow, interfaces in 3D model (SP3D), inter- discipline information exchange, monitoring

work of designer etc. In addition, candidate should be self-driven and be able to independently

produce deliverables like design calculation, drawings, 3D models etc.

Software Skills: Hands-on experience Structural Enterprise of Bentley (STAAD.Pro, RAM Connection, STAAD Foundation etc.), AutoCAD, Working knowledge of Microsoft office software specially Excel to develop design spreadsheet etc., Knowledge of SP3D environment to gets works done will be added advantage.
