Job Description
MEIP (MHI Engineering and Industrial Projects India Pvt. Ltd), a Group Company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries,
Japan (www.mhi.com, www.mhieip.com ) engaged in Fertilizer, LNG, Petrochemical, Green Energy business is
hiring candidates for the following position with experience in FEED/EPC of Fertilizer/ Petrochemical/ Refinery
plant for their Gurgaon office.
Position : Engineer Electrical Qualification : B.E./ B.Tech (Electrical Engineering)
Experience : 7-12 years experience in Detailed Engineering of Industrial Projects in EPC /
Engineering companies, working on National/ International Projects using
international codes (IEC, NFPA, NEC, IEEE etc.).
Preferred Age : 30-35 years
Type of job : 1 Year Fixed Term Employment (extendable)
1. Basic and Detail Electrical Engineering of Chemical, Fertilizer and Petrochemical Plants.
2. Preparation of Single Line Diagram and Schematic Drawings and Electrical Engineering Design
3. Design Calculations: Transformer Sizing Calculations, Earthing Lightning Calculations Cables Sizing
Calculations, Battery Sizing, UPS Sizing, Short Circuit Calculations, Load Flow Calculations, Relay
Setting Calculations, and other Electrical equipment sizing.
4. Preparation of Electrical equipment Specifications for Transformer, Motors, LV and MV Switchgears,
cables, DG set and other items.
5. Preparation of Substation layout, Layout engineering (Cable tray, Earthing, Lighting, Hazardous Area
6. Coordination functions with other disciplines like Civil, Machinery, Piping and Instrumentation.
7. Inspection of Electrical Equipment at manufacturers work.
8. Testing and commissioning of Electrical equipment at site.
9. Good Working Experience on ETAP for Short Circuit Calculations, Load Flow Calculations, Motor
Starting Relay Setting Calculations is must.
10. Knowledge of Auto-CAD SP3D is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
The engineer will work in Electrical Department and will be responsible for specification preparations, calculations layouts supervision as per the project design basis, standards and industrial practices.
Good Knowledge of organization and systems
General knowledge of management techniques
