Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Utilize Power Query to clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources.
• Work with RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) to query, analyze, and optimize datasets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across different reporting systems.
• Automate data workflows and optimize report performance.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
• Stay updated with the latest BI and data analytics tools and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M language), and report publishing.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and hands-on experience with SQL.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL, and database optimization.
• Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud databases (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Exposure to automation tools and scripting.
