PowerBI + ADF Developer (full time Contract) Mumbai Immediate Joiners

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Power BI. They will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop dashboards, and optimize data models to support business decision-making. The role requires immediate availability and expertise in transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with ETL, Warehouse, Azure Synapse and Dashboarding.
• Power BI expertise including publishing reports, DAX queries, and using row level security.
• Must be from a manufacturing organization with a Basic understanding of SAP and SFA/CRM tools.
• Should have a good understanding of Business and must have handled interactions with internal stakeholders for requirement gathering and creation of BRD/Wireframes etc. and external partners if any to get the dashboards created and published.
• SQL skills - SSMS and MySQL
• Database knowledge - fetching data, integration with SAP, and other third-party software.
• Data handling capabilities - fields mappings, data manipulation using Excel, SQL, and PBI
• Must be a team leader and team player.
• Good in verbal and written communication
• Between 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar profile and part of IT team and not the departmental resource.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Connect Power BI with various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud services.
• Create data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations for efficient reporting.
• Optimize Power BI performance through efficient data modeling and query tuning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Between 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar profile and part of IT team and not the departmental resource.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and other data sources.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL, and data transformation techniques.
• Mandatory Experience Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud-based data solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent).
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Knowledge of machine learning or AI-based analytics is a plus.
