Medopharm has been pioneer in the field of pharma for more than 50 years in the industry. We are hiring candidates for one of our group companies for the Chief Financial Officer role.
Required Experience: 8 to 12 years
Location : Chennai
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning
Heading finance function involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial controls.
Formulating business plans / strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation to realise organizational goals.
Accounts & MIS
Supervising timely preparation of statutory books of accounts, financial statements and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance of Accounting Standards.
Responsible in preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, viz. fund management, cost control, credit control, profitability, etc.
Auditing/ Taxation / Statutory Compliance
Supervising and conducting statutory / tax / management audits of large corporate houses.
Finalising accounts and coordinating with internal & statutory auditors for conducting audit.
Planning and implementation of Direct tax saving strategies and ensuring timely filing and assessment of direct tax returns in compliance with statutory tax laws.
Financial Services
Providing of merchant banking and advisory support to, resource mobilization, custodial services.
Arranging finance for companies in for Term Loan & working capital loans and non-fund-based facilities from banks and institutions.
Project Evaluation & Financing
Conducting feasibility studies and preparing project reports to assess the financial viability of projects, predictable cash flow and growth opportunities.
Analysing various business (operating & financial) risks involved with the projects and providing findings to the management.
Liaising and Co-ordination
Liaising with government and semi-government authorities: permissions for project commencement, subsidies and other incentives and business development.
Financial Reporting
Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Accounting Operations:
Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.
Financial Analysis:
Analysing financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Providing insights and recommendations to top management for informed decision-making.
Strategic Planning:
Assisting in formulating financial strategies and long-term financial plans to support the organization's growth and objectives.
Process Improvement:
Identifying opportunities for process optimization, implementing best practices, and driving efficiency within the accounting function.
Cash Management:
Managing cash flow and working capital to ensure the organization's financial stability and liquidity.
