Job Profile:
The Export Assistant will provide support to the export manager with preparation of export documents in compliance with customer, vendors and government regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review documents like bill of lading, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, customer declaration and all other export related Documents.
2. Manage the import and export process by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
3. Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
4. Respond to inquiries regarding status of documents and work with custom broker/forwarder to ensure on time delivery of documents.
5. Prepare and submit license applications, technical assistance agreements and other request for license and approval to the State Department and Commerce Department.
6. Manage all aspects of export compliance from procurement to operations.
7. Proactively initiate new export customer relationships
8. Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Profile / Skill required:
1. Knowledge of shipping regulation and policies (Preferred).
2. Knowledge of customs regulations and experience with customs clearance procedures(Preferred).
3. Experience in import-export operations, logistics, or a relevant role (Preferred).
4. Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with customer.
5. Good command on English Language
6. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email Software
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
