Export Documentation Executive

Job Overview:

The Export Documentation Specialist is responsible for managing and preparing all necessary documentation required for international shipments. This role ensures compliance with all customs regulations and export laws, coordinates with other departments, and liaises with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process export documents, including but not limited to bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping companies to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, such as Incoterms, customs requirements, and international trade laws.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather and verify necessary documentation for shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of export documentation , HBL, AMS Filing and ensure that all paperwork is properly filed and tracked.
• Handle communication with government authorities, including customs, to resolve any issues related to export documentation.
• Monitor shipment schedules and keep clients informed of the status of their shipments.
• Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving export-related issues such as customs holds or missing documentation.
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Assist in the preparation of export reports and analysis of documentation-related performance metrics.
