Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve quality targets for the patent renewal process and ensure the teams performance meets established standards.
Conduct internal process audits and reviews to ensure adherence to process parameters and systems as per defined guidelines.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports, Quality Control (QC) reports, and audit reports to inform critical business decisions.
Monitor overall process performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to maximize customer satisfaction while adhering to SLAs and SOPs.
Work closely with the team to conduct quality audits and ensure consistent process execution.
Identify internal process inconsistencies and determine training needs for continuous improvement.
Identify process gaps and opportunities for automation to reduce manual efforts and enhance efficiency.
Skills/Abilities Required:
Strong knowledge of the Intellectual Property (IP) domain, with a focus on patents and renewals.
Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Expertise in overseeing the end-to-end patent renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate payment submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
Ability to review invoices from agents in different jurisdictions for correctness and ensure accurate quarterly and month-end invoicing activities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to multitask and manage complex tasks under tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Macro tools.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or Accounting (preferred).
2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in patent renewals, quality audits, and process management.
Experience in quality audit and supervisory skills is a plus.
