Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser with strong knowledge in knits to join our team. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and be responsible for managing sampling, product development, and production. This role involves overseeing the entire product process, from the initial idea to final production, focusing on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communication: Lead communication with buyers and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly during product development.
• Sampling Management: Oversee the sampling process, making sure all samples meet buyer requirements and are delivered on time.
• Product Development: Work closely with buyers to develop products that meet their needs and match Tech-Pack specifications.
• Approval Process: Manage the approval process to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained quickly and efficiently.
• Technical Knowledge: Use your understanding of Tech-Pack, TNA planning, and costing to help improve the product development process.
• Excel Skills: Use Excel to manage data, create reports, and support product development and production.
• Knits Expertise: Apply your knowledge of knits, including garment dyeing, washes, and fabric printing, to ensure high-quality products.
• Production Management: Oversee the pre-production process to make sure everything is ready before full production starts.
• Follow-ups: Keep track of all tasks and follow up with everyone involved to make sure deadlines are met.
• WFX Software: Use WFX software to manage workflows and make processes more efficient.
• Fabric Printing: Use your knowledge of fabric printing to help develop high-quality products.

Requirement:

• Proven experience in merchandising, especially in knits and garment manufacturing.
• Strong technical skills in Tech-Pack, TNA planning, and costing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with WFX software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow up on tasks.
