Senior Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development:
  
• Collaborate with design and product teams to conceptualize and develop new products.
• Ensure product quality meets client and company standards.
• Analyze and source suitable materials based on market trends.
• Vendor Management:
  
• Identify and manage vendor relationships for timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and production schedules with suppliers.
• Conduct factory visits to ensure adherence to ethical and quality standards.
• Order Management:
  
• Manage end-to-end merchandising process, including sampling, production, and shipping.
• Monitor production schedules and address bottlenecks for timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation for orders and ensure timely invoicing.
• Market Research:
  
• Stay up-to-date with global and local market trends, competitor analysis, and innovations.
• Identify new business opportunities by analyzing customer demands and market shifts.
• Quality Control:
  
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure product standards.
• Conduct regular inspections at different production stages.
• Client Relationship Management:
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements and concerns.
• Provide updates on order status, product innovations, and market trends.
• Ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Fashion, Merchandising, or related fields
• 5-12 years of experience in merchandising (preferably in textiles or garments)
• Knowledge of export/import regulations is a plus
