Senior Finance Professional

Job Description:

- Serve as a member of the senior finance leadership team and as a key partner to the COO and CFO in the development of strategic plans; ensure the linkage of those plans to annual budgets and forecasts.

- Upgrade the financial infrastructure. Help the leadership team drive business results.

- Recommend actions for operational improvement as appropriate.

- Assess resource requirements and financial impacts of new business initiatives (e.g., new products, geographic expansion, pricing), weighing in on which initiatives should have priority, and partnering with the senior leadership team to execute.

- Provide relevant and timely analysis, competitive benchmarks and business insights that inform business decisions and drive profitable growth.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Partner with business leaders to develop operating plans. Develop and review financial forecasts with senior management to ensure business performance is in line with expectations.

- Develop and manage performance dashboards, including measures and metrics to monitor and analyze business.

- Provide financial and business decision leadership support for both ongoing business and the development of new growth opportunities.

M&A/Business Development:

- Support the evaluation of M&A and other business development opportunities through due diligence, financial modelling and integration of acquired businesses.

Desired Profile:

- Chartered Accountant - with strong academic and professional track record.

- 15+ years of finance experience.

-Startup experience will be preferred.

- Experience across Business Finance, FP&A and M&A.

- Significant functional competence across all several aspects of finance including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting. ERP experience would be nice to have.
