Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Management

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
• Lead and motivate a team of marketing executives, designers, and business project teams.
• Oversee social media marketing initiatives, tracking activities, and reporting results.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine marketing approaches.
• Manage on-ground marketing at exhibitions, including vendor coordination.
• Drive PR campaigns, ensuring at least one published PR article per event.
• Utilize data analytics to track campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies.

Digital & Social Media Marketing

• Develop and manage content strategy across social media platforms, blogs, email campaigns, and infographics.
• Execute paid online advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Ads, YouTube).
• Set up and maintain company profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
• Monitor trends in digital marketing and apply insights to enhance engagement.
• Analyze campaign performance and adjust marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Act as the point of contact for website management and updates.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and ability to derive actionable insights from campaign performance.

Event Marketing Coordination

• Develop marketing concepts, branding, and advertising strategies for each event.
• Manage relationships with media and association partners domestically and internationally.
• Oversee sponsor branding and leverage partner marketing channels.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with exhibitors and sponsors
• Curate media and blogger lists to support event promotions.

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager with a strong background in digital marketing, events, and magazine marketing. The candidate must be adept at managing relationships with senior executives, including CEOs and Chairpersons, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. The role involves raising the profile of IDEX within the Indian and international markets while expanding the reach of our conferences and exhibitions.

• Minimum of five years of marketing experience, preferably in events and magazine marketing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with C-Level executives.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and its application in marketing strategy.
• Excellent management and motivational skills to lead a diverse marketing team.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, emailers, WhatsApp, and SMS campaigns.
• Design and visual content creation skills.
• Highly analytical with a results-driven approach to marketing.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while ensuring cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong research and editorial skills for content creation.
• Ability to think creatively and work in a startup environment.
