- Act as a liaison between the Healthcare product team and external stakeholders (prospective customers, 3rd party vendors, system integrators, consulting firms, regulatory agencies) to gather requirements and validate product direction.
GTM Branding
- Work with sales and marketing to establish and maintain product branding.
- Participate in Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and make recommendations.
- Ensure marketing materials (brochures, case studies, white papers, blog, podcasts, videos, website, sales kit) are updated with the latest product information.
- Ensure Newgen US Healthcare products are included in top analyst firm reports (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, KLAS).
Market Research
- Conduct market research to stay informed about competitive products and industry trends.
- Use market insights to guide product strategy and feature development.
Sales Revenue Growth
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and potential business partnerships or alliances.
- Define and implement strategies to increase product adoption and drive sales through effective feature development.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure products comply with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, NCQA) and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Product Strategy Development
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and market demands.
Product Backlog and Feature Prioritization
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on market trends, competition analysis, customer feedback, and business value.
- Collaborate with development and product owner teams to define product roadmaps and timelines.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Implement testing processes to ensure product quality and reliability, especially for critical healthcare applications.
Continuous Learning
- Stay updated with advancements in healthcare technology, industry trends, and regulatory changes to maintain product competitiveness and compliance.

- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of product owners and developers.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelordegree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 10-15 years of overall experience.
- Proven track record of managing complex software products in the US Healthcare payer industry.
- 3-5 years of experience as a product manager.
- Certified Product Manager (CPM) or similar certification is a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in the US Healthcare payer industry, with 3-5 years in the Provider area (Contract management, Credentialing, Network, Claims).
- Deep understanding of the US Healthcare payer ecosystem (operations: member, provider, claims, enrollment, etc.; clinical; network; sales).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- B1 visa for the US is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Expected to carry a revenue target for new customers.
- Willing to work overlapping shifts with the US, including until 11:00 pm IST.
- Reporting to the US Healthcare COE head located in the US.
- Knowledge of US healthcare payers (Health Plans) such as Aetna, United, Cigna, Molina, Centene, BlueCross BlueShield, etc.
- Approximately 200+ Health Plans in the US represent a potential business market for Newgen.
