About MapleJet

MapleJet is a manufacturer of industrial inkjet printers with 20 years of history in design, development, and sales of coding and marking technology for various packaging lines. Following MapleJets latest breakthrough to move its Range of TIJ and DOD printers into the mainstream market, we are currently looking for the right candidate to lead our Sales for India Office.


Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for the India Market aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Conducting market research to identify potential customers, assess market trends, and understand competitors' activities to gain a competitive edge.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities.
  • Exploring new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand MapleJet's market presence in the regions.
  • Provide professional and consultative guidance to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products/services.
  • Preparing sales performance, regular sales reports, and providing insights to the team for decision-making.
  • Conduct product/service presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions and opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on leads and opportunities.
  • Representing MapleJet at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to showcase products and generate leads.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and contributing to overall business planning and budgeting.

Skills:

  • Experience in Marking and Coding sales, candidates with experience in e-commerce have advantage.
  • Familiarity with food production and packaging lines
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Excellent selling skills
  • Excellent sales, communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategy
  • Possess proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint presentations, and have hands-on experience in generating quotes using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Reports to: Business Development Director


Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales field, preferable experience in inkjet printing & packaging industry


Education: Any Graduate or Post Graduation.
