Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the erection, installation, and commissioning of high-voltage (33KV/132KV) transmission line substations, transformers, and associated low- and high-voltage electrical equipment. This role demands hands-on expertise in industrial settings, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of 33KV/132KV transmission line substations.
• Manage the installation and commissioning of power transformers, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.
• Supervise the erection and installation of LT/HT switchgear, MCC panels, battery chargers, and other related electrical equipment.
• Perform cable termination, protection relay settings, and grounding system checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including drawings, reports, and records.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other site personnel.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Enforce lock out tag out procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the site.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in EEE.
• 4 to 15 years of proven experience in the erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems.
