Head - Legal - Conglomerate - LLB/LLM (20-30 yrs)

We have been mandated for the below mentioned role for a large conglomerate is into mining business.

Position: Head - Legal

Location: Bhubaneswar

Job Purpose:

To lead the legal function for the Mining Business as an effective legal strategist and counselor to senior management in all legal matters. Bringing diverse perspectives together to help solve challenging business problems, analyze and handle a broad range of complex legal issues (pending currently as well as emerging) and regulations affecting the Mining business of the Company.

Key Result Areas:

- Provide strategic advice to senior management on legal matters.

- Legal Risk Management.

- Litigation Management.

- Ensure and implement good Corporate Governance within the business in line with group guidelines.

- Regulatory Compliance.

- Contract Management.

- Legal excellence center.

- Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Qualification: LLB / LLM.

Experience: Minimum 20 years' experience in the industry with specialized experience in managing an independent Head role in a manufacturing setup. Experience in Mining-related litigations will be an added advantage.
