Job Description
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP CAP on SAP BTP.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into technical designs.
- Implement business logic using CAP, Node.js, and OData services.
- Integrate SAP BTP applications with other SAP solutions and thirdparty systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance on the cloud platform.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP features and CAP enhancements, recommending best practices and innovation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud applications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
Mandatory skill sets
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in SAP development, with a focus on cloud solutions.
- Proven experience with SAP BTP and the CAP model.
- Strong programming skills in Node.js and JavaScript.
- Experience with OData services, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- SAP certification in BTP or related areas is a plus.
Preferred skill sets
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
