Manager - Horeca & Alternate Channels

The Horeca, Institutional Business & Alternate Channels Manager at Happilo International will be responsible for driving sales strategies and ensuring their successful implementation across India to achieve the desired business objectives. This role will play a critical part in shaping Happilo's market presence and profitability on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the Horeca, Institutional, and Alternate Channels across India.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities nationwide to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve outcomes on a national scale.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and market penetration across India.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout all regions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12+ years of post-MBA experience.
• Solid combined experience in handling HORECA, Institutional sales, Alternate Channels, CPC, CSD expansion, etc.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets on a national level.
• Strong understanding of the general trade market in India.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with experience in managing large and diverse teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage HORECA channel sales, including CSD, CANTEEN, CPC, Hotel & Restaurant segments.
  
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer locations.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-12 years of experience in Institutional Sales or related field (HORECA).
  
• MBA/PGDM degree from a reputed institution.
  
• Strong understanding of FMCG industry trends and consumer behavior.
