Major Purpose of the Job: Procurement of Finished Formulations for Domestic and International markets. To ensure supplies at right time with right Quality and Cost. On time resolution of Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, Cost and Supply matters through close coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Operational support for New Product Development (NPD) and Alternate Vendor Development (AVD).Principal Accountability:1. Vendor Development Selection of vendor for new and existing finished formulations for additional source/quality improvement/cost improvement etc. Arrange samples for Marketing and Quality approval. Arrange Tech Pack from vendor for product approval. Commercial clearance of transfer price from New Product Development (NPD) team/Marketing. Audit planning for manufacturing site in consultation with CPL QA and Vendor QA. Artwork approval through coordination with Vendor, Marketing/NPD, Packaging Development, Formulation Development, Regulatory and Quality.2. Commercial Negotiation Arrange quotations/detailed costing from different vendors for benchmarking. Comparative analysis and negotiation basis SHOULD cost. Finalize transfer price considering budget, required quantity and delivery lead time.3. SAP Operation Preparation of Quote Comparison Sheet (QCS) in SAP through e-Proc (Vendor Portal). On time conversion of PR to PO. Timely reconciliation and closure of PO.4. Supply Coordination On time resolution of query related to PR. Ensure timely release of purchase orders to vendors. Follow up with vendor for delivery schedule. Daily monitoring of deliveries as per vendor commitment. On time resolution of Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, Cost and Supply matters through periodic visits and virtual meetings.5. Market Information Coordination with vendors for new developments and market insights. Key input material price monitoring with the help of internal procurement teams, vendors and traders. Preparation of vendor database w.r.t. accreditations, dosage Forms, therapy and molecule landscape. Visit to vendor manufacturing site/office for business meetings. Visit to concern trade fare/seminars to understand market dynamics and best business practices.
