Job Description
- Design and implement scalable, production-ready APIs, database models, and schemas for core applications
- Contribute to the design of cloud infrastructure with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
- Write and review high-quality, maintainable code that aligns with long-term business needs
- Support fellow engineers through collaboration, documentation, unit testing, and peer reviews
- Collaborate across engineering teams to identify performance enhancements and scalability improvements
Skills You ll Need to Have :
- 5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Ruby
- Proficiency in cloud product development, including schema design, data modeling, and optimization
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or Grape, and familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Familiarity with AWS technologies (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, DynamoDB) for cloud application development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for reliable and efficient deployments
- Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL principles, with familiarity in API scalability and WebSockets
- Problem-solving attitude and willingness to contribute to projects that support Malwarebytes success
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have Skills :
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.
- Knowledge of tools for build, packaging, and deployment, like Webpack, Vite, npm, yarn, Docker, and Jenkins
