Senior Back-End Software Engineer

• Work together to design and create small to medium-sized features and services that are provided to end users with senior and staff engineers
• Implement workable, scalable solutions that will expand the business
• Assist the entire engineering team (front-end, product, QA, and site reliability) in order to guarantee that back-end projects satisfy all team specifications
• Make sure that new feature implementations meet the demands of an expanding engineering organization by putting an emphasis on secure coding techniques and maintainability

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• Expertise in software engineering with a focus on cloud-based technology platforms that are dependable, efficient, scalable, and maintainable
• Extensive expertise in developing web applications using Python and Django
• Solid background in cloud application architecture (like GCP)
• Strong background in data model and schema design
• In-depth knowledge of Redis, Cloud PubSub, PostgreSQL, and related systems
• Solid understanding of API design and prior API development expertise
• Extensive experience working with REST/RESTful APIs, Web API, API Integrations, and MySQL
• Proficient in modern testing techniques, particularly unit testing
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams
• Track record of success in collaborating across functional responsibilities in a highly collaborative setting
• Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
