Temenos (T24) Environment Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled T24 Environment Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our Temenos T24 (Transact) banking system infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing T24 environments, troubleshooting system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of the core banking system.

Key Responsibilities:

Environment Management: Set up, configure, and maintain multiple T24 environments (Development, Testing, UAT, Production).

Upgrades & Patching: Implement software patches, upgrades, and configurations to optimize system performance.

System Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and enhance performance.

Deployment & Automation: Manage T24 application deployments, implement automation tools, and streamline processes.

Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices, compliance, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.

Technical Support: Work closely with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve issues and improve stability.

Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation and system maintenance.

Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, environment diagrams, and support procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in T24 environment management or Temenos Transact system administration.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of T24 architecture, TAFJ/TAF, jBASE, Oracle/SQL databases, WebSphere/JBoss/Tomcat.

Operating Systems: Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

Scripting: Proficiency in Shell, Python, or Perl scripting.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or on-prem virtualized environments is a plus.

Banking Domain: Understanding of core banking operations and regulatory requirements.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Temenos Certifications (T24 Technical/Transact).

Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for banking applications.
