Job Description
- Derive product specifications for various elements in sheet metal from requirements given by product planning.
- Experience in designing various sheet metal parts Bonnet/Panel/Fenders/Perforation etc in consideration with DFA/DFS/DFM.
- Experience in manufacturing processes of developing sheet metal & Plastic components.
- Modifications to address irritants in existing products and offering new features in existing products.
- Co-ordination with CAE for design optimization.
- Identify Failure mode in new design and prepare DFMEA.
- VA/ VE activities - Creation of ideas & execution to realize the savings
- Co-ordination for development, testing & assembly of initial batches as per targeted launch plan.
B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
2-8 Years of experience in Sheet Metal Design
