Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shopify Lead Developer at Magneto IT Solutions in Ahmedabad.

The Lead Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative eCommerce solutions for clients.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of Shopify platforms with clients' business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee the end-to-end development process for Shopify projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and timelines.

- Design and develop custom themes and applications for Shopify and Shopify Plus, tailoring solutions to meet specific client needs.

- Implement and manage integrations with third-party APIs and apps, enhancing the functionality of Shopify stores.

- Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions that meet client expectations.

- Ensure all developed solutions are optimized for search engines and adhere to best practices in SEO.

- Conduct user testing and usability analysis to improve the overall user experience of eCommerce sites.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed features and integrations.

- Keep abreast of the latest eCommerce trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the Shopify ecosystem.

- Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify, including Shopify Plus and custom development.

- Complete know-how of Shopify's Admin System is mandatory.

- Experience with custom theme development for Shopify Plus (advanced customer field experience)

- Experience with Shopify's APIs and app development.

- Experience with Shopify app integrations (integrating third-party APIs)

- Familiarity with Git and version control.

- Strong understanding of SEO and web development

- Experience with Server and DNS management

- Experience with other web development technologies such as PHP, React, or Node.js.

- Experience with user testing and usability analysis

- Familiarity with UX/UI concepts and best practices
