Job Description

Job Role: Sales Executive Digital Marketing Agency


We are looking for a dynamic sales executive for a digital marketing company who is responsible for driving business growth, building client relationships, and generating revenue by selling the company's digital marketing services. This role requires a mix of sales skills, digital marketing knowledge, and a strong ability to adapt to changing market trends.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
    • Identify and research potential clients and industries.
    • Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Understand clients' needs and tailor solutions to align with their business goals.
  3. Sales Presentations and Pitches:
    • Present the agency's digital marketing services, such as SEO, PPC, social media marketing, content marketing, and web development.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals.
  4. Negotiation and Deal Closure:
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients.
    • Close deals to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  5. Collaboration with Teams:
    • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align strategies and deliver promised services.
    • Provide feedback on client requirements and market trends to the team.
  6. Market Analysis:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and potential new opportunities.
    • Share insights with the team to improve service offerings.
  7. Sales Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM tools.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Experience:
    • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the digital marketing or advertising industry.
    • Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  3. Technical Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with digital marketing services and how they benefit businesses.
    • Basic understanding of tools like Google Ads, Analytics, and social media platforms.
  4. Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Persuasive and negotiation abilities.
    • Time management and organizational skills.
    • Resilience and adaptability under pressure.
  5. Sales Skills:
    • Strong ability to identify client pain points and propose tailored solutions.
    • Competence in handling objections and turning them into opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of leads generated.
  • Conversion rate of leads to clients.
  • Monthly/quarterly revenue targets achieved.
  • Retention and upselling of existing clients.

Potential Growth Opportunities:

  • Promotion to Senior Sales Executive, Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager.
  • Expansion into account management or strategy roles, leveraging client relationships.
