Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in either of these sectors Consumer Tech, Startups, Lifestyle, Home Appliances, or Manufacturing.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful PR campaigns, building relationships with key media outlets, and enhancing brand reputation.
- You will be responsible for leading client accounts, developing strategic PR plans, managing media relations, and overseeing the execution of campaigns that align with our brand's values and client goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to support the company's business objectives in the Consumer Tech, Startups, Lifestyle, Home Appliances, and Manufacturing sectors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support on account activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to secure media coverage.
- Manage and respond to media inquiries, including crisis communication.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage and PR campaign performance, providing regular reports to clients and management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, social media, and product development, to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Plan and coordinate press events, product launches, and other PR-related activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve PR efforts.
- Manage PR budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in public relations, with a focus on Consumer Tech, Startups, Lifestyle, Home Appliances, or Manufacturing industries (expertise in any one of the sectors).
- Proven success in developing and executing PR campaigns that generate media coverage and enhance brand reputation.
- Strong media relations skills with an extensive network of industry contacts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PR software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage junior staff.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
