Job Summary :
The Oracle BRM Support Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Oracle BRM system.
This position is responsible for providing expert-level support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the BRM platform, including performance analysis, quality assurance, and adherence to business requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Oracle BRM, a deep understanding of its various modules, and a proven ability to resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Oracle BRM system, including proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and ensuring system stability.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact business operations.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the BRM environment.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and system audits to identify and address bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to BRM functionality, data integrity, and system performance.
- Provide timely and effective support to internal and external stakeholders, including end-users, developers, and other IT teams.
- Document all troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and workarounds for future reference.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new BRM features and functionalities.
- Assist in the development and testing of new applications and integrations that interact with the BRM system.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle BRM architecture, modules, and functionalities (Subscription Management, Rating & Discounting, Billing & Invoicing, Payments & Account Receivable, General Ledger, etc.
- Strong understanding of BRM integrations with upstream and downstream systems, including data feeds from 3rd party systems and Snowflake database.
- Experience with BRM customizations, including UI Personalizations, migrations, and code modifications.
- Working knowledge of ECE, BIP integration, and other related technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong debugging skills and experience in handling functional and data issues with an end-to-end view.
- Ability to reverse-engineer and troubleshoot complex application architectures using available documentation and requirement baselines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to create clear and concise user manuals for business users.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to business stakeholders on system performance, key metrics, and any identified issues.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle BRM.
- Proven experience in supporting and maintaining complex IT systems.
- Experience with BRM implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications billing principles and processes.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g , Python, Shell) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g , AWS, Azure) is a plus.
