Senior Analyst - Sustainability Quant & Systems (SQS)

To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G plcs operational risk.

Work alongside the team to develop data, tools and systems that informs investment decisions and processes; improve the climate & nature data management system and provide quantitative inputs on climate & nature research leveraging the data analytics skills.

Undertake scoping and planning of new and existing climate & nature initiatives, and understand and manage broader considerations to maximise the chances of success.

Produce high quality deliverables and interface with internal and external stakeholders on climate & nature-related initiatives; advocate for SQS and build brand among stakeholders.

Support with knowledge growth and work with quant team members on climate & nature analytics and research.

Promote effective working within the SQS team, and enhance SQS effectiveness and integration through broader stakeholder engagement; ensure open lines of communication in respect of work underway and upcoming requirements to enable proactive planning and management within available capacity.

Facilitate longer term integration of climate & nature into business and investment processes.

Be committed to developing depth of climate & nature knowledge over time to increase M&G s climate & nature subject-matter expertise, capability and capacity.

Contribute to and support development of external climate & nature materials, including marketing initiatives and industry events

Contribute to the wider Stewardship & Sustainability team agenda.
