Job Description
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Design and Development
Mainframe batch support
Resource should be comfortable with On-Call Support and Week-End
Release support.
Incident Outage management
Develop code for Reporting, Defect Enhancement
Hands on experience with JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and mainframe utilities are mandatory.
Drive the Kanban, Daily Standup, co-ordination meetings with respective stakeholders.
Analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills
Must have
4-7 years of Mainframe development and support experience with good hands-on JCL, COBOL, DB2 CICS, VSAM.
Any COBOL or CICS Upgrade experience.
Experience in Mainframe tools Utilities like File Aid, Changeman, Syncsort etc.
Experience working with software design, software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementation.
Other Qualifications
Analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills at multiple products.
Ability to communicate in English with application developers, customers, support personnel and management.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
