Alt Text Manager

We are looking for a skilled Manager to lead our Content Writing team, specializing in crafting high-quality Alternative Text (Alt Text) for global clients. This role combines leadership, and strong commitment to accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation of accurate, concise, and contextually relevant Alt Text for diverse digital contents, ensuring compliance with accessibility guidelines .
• Lead and mentor a team of writers, providing guidance, feedback, and training to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, brand tone, and accessibility goals.
• Manage workflow, deadlines, and quality assurance processes to meet client expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and accessibility best practices, driving innovation within the team.

Mandatory Skillsets:

• Graduate with 9+ years of experience delivering alt-text in US & UK English.
• Passionate about learning, coaching, and mentoring to achieve expected productivity, quality, and customer SLA.
• Strong understanding of customer instructions/specifications.
• Experience with samples, time estimations, and responses to RFP/RFQ/RFI.
• Ability to ensure errors are not repeated based on feedback.
• Skilled in training internal teams and clarifying queries.
• Experience in preparing project instructions, process documents, and checklists.
• Conduct RCA and implement corrective actions based on feedback.
• Coordination with freelancers and vendors for alt-text writing to meet delivery expectations.
• Knowledge of various disciplines, including mathematics, chemistry, STEM, sociology, and management.
