System Test Engineer - Functional/Integration Testing (4-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, design, and execute system-level tests, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and track them to resolution.

- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues.

- Ensure the quality and reliability of automation systems.

- Test the integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with other automation systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA) and cloud platforms like SAP.

- Verify data flow and integrity between systems.

- Troubleshoot integration issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.

- Test the implementation and functionality of Industry 4.0 technologies and IIoT solutions.

- Evaluate the performance and reliability of IIoT devices and platforms.

- Conduct data analysis and reporting on IIoT data.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of process industries such as Pharma, Chemical, Pulp and Paper, Food, and Beverage.

- Apply industry-specific knowledge to test scenarios and requirements.

- Adhere to relevant industry regulations and standards.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in MES systems.

- Strong understanding of DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.

- Experience with Batch Applications.

- Knowledge of System 800xA (preferred).

- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 principles and technologies.

- Knowledge of IIoT protocols, devices, and platforms.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, etc.)

- Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field).

- 4-8 years of experience in system testing, preferably in the process industry.
