Job Description
Enterprise Strategic Sourcing (ESS) is responsible for managing all Indirect categories within Lowe s collaborating with all business functions, legal, IT and Finance. The Analytics, Market Intel and Process (AMP) team within ESS is responsible for all indirect spend data (>$10B), all procurement processes, systems, policies as well as external market data and insights. The AMP team forms a core part of category management within ESS/Lowe s ensuring value is brought in across projects through valuable insights.
Core responsibilities:
- Own and execute sub-stream of process improvement projects in sourcing, contract management and supplier management
- Own and deliver projects from start to completion
- Follow up with stakeholders and communicate key changes
- Support implementation of technology roadmap
- Support mapping of current state and future state of processes involving ESS
- Help reduce turnaround time of processes within S2C
- Support catalog implementation as required
- Support assessment of existing procurement systems to identify fit, gaps and come up with a technology roadmap that is in line with business requirements and ensure simplicity
- Create SOPs as required for processes delivered and supported
- Drive project execution/management
Qualification:
- Min 5 years of business experience or bachelors degree with internship experience
- Bachelor s degree in any stream
- Masters would be great
Primary Skills (must have)
- Exposure to Procurement tools and ERP - Coupa (or other front end sourcing tool), Oracle, Microsoft preferred
- Better than intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT)
- Must be proficient in communicating with stakeholders globally. Prior Experience with global stakeholders must.
- Collaboration communication skills
- Exposure to Indirect categories and industry research
- Exposure to Source to contract process and technology
- Part of process/system transformation programs across organization
- Exposure to procurement tools like Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, GEP Smart, iValua, etc.
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Originally part of Centre of excellence teams (COE)
- Led global transformation projects
- Sourcing experience
- Contract management exposure
