Job Title: Doctor - ICU | Emergency

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients under the supervision of senior intensivists and consultants.
• Perform initial assessments and daily reviews of patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, lab results, and response to treatment.
• Administer and adjust medications as required, including sedatives, analgesics, vasopressors, and antibiotics, in line with treatment protocols.
• Assist in invasive procedures (e.g., central venous catheter insertion, intubation, arterial line placement) under the supervision of senior medical staff.
• Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation of patient care, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical history.

Emergency Response:

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the ICU and elsewhere in the hospital (e.g., rapid response or code blue events).
• Provide timely interventions during acute clinical deterioration, working closely with the ICU team to stabilize patients.

Patient Management:

• Oversee the daily management of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on the patients clinical condition and laboratory results.
• Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding their loved ones condition, treatment plans, and prognosis, ensuring clear, empathetic communication.
• Ensure that appropriate investigations (e.g., imaging, laboratory tests) are ordered and followed up on.
