Job Description
- Design, implement, and handle CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible and Terraform .
- Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms like EKS and AKS.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through tools like DataDog.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Implement and run cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Ensure security and compliance by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the development, testing, and production environments.
- Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Proof of concept (POC) and onboarding activities for new tools and technologies.
- Technical documentation preparation (SAD), compliance related documentation and approvals process related activities.
- Create user guides, confluence documentation and conduct user trainings.

Experience and Qualifications Required
- Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
- Required hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Technologies .
- Preferable to have hands on experience in on-prem to Cloud migration .
- Having previously worked on Murex will be an added advantage .
- Must have a good SQL knowledge (PL SQL and query optimization is a plus)
- Hands on industry renowned CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins etc (Gitlab preferable)
- Knowledge in Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab pipelines, yaml is preferrable.
- Basic or midrange scripting knowledge (Shell scripting, PowerShell) is preferable.
- Hands on experience in Python is an added advantage.
- Hands on experience / know how of cloud technologies (AWS is preferable).
- Experience in Scrum and Agile practices.
- Knowledge on scheduling tools like Control-M is an advantage
- Technical experience as a Devops engineer (min 2 years).
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willing to adopt Hybrid working mode and work in Bangalore Office.
- Experience in Financial or an investment banking environment.
- Familiarity with financial products and financial terms.
- Excellent analytical skills, Attention to Detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to IT and business teams and to senior management.
- Strong negotiation / influencing skills able to overcome resistance and reach consensus and compromise to attain the required objective.
