Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer who thrives on solving complex problems and enjoys leading engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working in start-ups or fast-paced environments and possess deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL. You will play a key role in designing scalable solutions, ensuring best coding practices, and driving innovation in our e-commerce and matchmaking platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Develop: Design and implement backend services, APIs, and scalable solutions to support platform growth.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews, implement best coding practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
• Roadmap & Scalability: Plan and execute a technology roadmap that enhances platform efficiency and performance.
• AWS & Infrastructure: Evaluate AWS services to optimize cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitoring & Performance: Implement system monitoring, proactive instrumentation, and performance tuning to enhance reliability.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve real-time system issues, and build long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.

Requirements:

• Jo Title: Senior Backend Developmentment experience.
• 2+ years of experience in leading engineering efforts for small to midsize applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field (preferred).
• Experience with AWS cloud services (certifications are a plus).
• Proficiency in building scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to clarify ambiguous requirements by asking the right questions.
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for building cutting-edge solutions.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and event-driven design.
