Technical Sales Representative - Cybersecurity

Job Overview

We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative - Cybersecurity to drive revenue growth by identifying and closing cybersecurity sales opportunities. This role requires a strong technical background in cybersecurity combined with business acumen to engage clients, understand their security challenges, and provide tailored solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Cybersecurity Solutions and Services.
  
• Engage with C-Level IT and Security leaders to understand their challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
  
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer needs.
  
• Work closely with Technical teams to ensure successful Qualification/Demo/POC and Implementations.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors
  
• Stay updated on industry trends, threats, and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
  
• Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

Candidate profile

Required:

• Proven experience (2+ years) in Cybersecurity Sales, Technical Sales.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts (Application/Network/Data/Endpoint/Cloud Security, etc.)
• Experience selling to Large Enterprises.
• Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into Business Values.
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity Compliance Frameworks (DPDP, GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPPA, OWASP etc.)
  

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• Certifications like CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or any Vendor Specific Certifications.
• Experience with CRM tools (like Zoho, Hubspot) and Sales forecasting.
