AGM/DGM - MEP Design

Technical:-

1. Good understanding of local and international design standards, code & local authority requirements.

2. Sound knowledge on Design calculations such as Mechanical Water supply load demand, water balance, hot water system design, fire-fighting calculations, solid waste calculation equipment selection, pump head calculations, AC heat load, etc.

3. Prepare/Review DBR & Concept design reports for MEP Systems.

4. Should be experienced in review of design documents from Service consultant.

5. Macro level knowledge and Coordination requirements with other services such as ELECTRICAL & ELV SERVICES, FA SYSTEM, PA SYSTEM, CCTV SYSTEM, BMS SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, ETC.

6. Understanding of architectural and structural drawings and interior design intent.

7. Co- ordination with relevant stake holders for follows up and approvals.

8. Review and approval of contractor’s shop drawings and material submittals.

9. Attending site Meetings and Timely review and response to RFI and queries from Site.

10. Understanding of Costing for Mechanical services and Coordination with cost management and procurement team for cost inputs and tender technical discussions.

11. Coordinate with liaising department.

12. Active participation in meeting and discussions with valid inputs.

13. Technical review of products for rate contract.

14. Coordination and document preparation for Authority submission.

15. Should be able to provide real time solution wherever possible.

Managerial:-

1. Pro active leadership, problem solver, can do approach and positive motivator.

2. Lead a team of engineers and draftsman.

3. Monitor and control the project deliverables from consultants and contractors.

4. Prepare micro schedule for deliverables.

5. Review consultant invoice and variation claim by contractors.

6. Manage resources for in-house working.

7. Motivate the team to complete the projects in an effective and timely manner.

8. Should be Technically efficient in managing the queries of team and client as per the project

requirements.

Skills:-

1. Auto CAD Knowledge for review of drawings with basic drafting skill.

2. Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

3. Good in communication and decision making.

4. Should be a team player and has positive approach to change.

5. Good People / stakeholder management skill.
