Business Analyst/ Solution Architect - Nagpur For Logistics Software

Role & responsibilities

Location : Nagpur , Maharashtra

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Understand logistics operations, including relay models, trailer swapping, fleet

management, and driver management concepts.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define technical requirements for the software

platform.

• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for the

development team.

Technical Communication and Coordination:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between logistics operations and the software

development team.

• Clearly communicate business processes, data flow, and system architecture

requirements to developers.

• Provide technical feedback on deliverables, including UI/UX features, process flows, and

platform modules.

Project Management:

• Ensure project milestones are met by monitoring progress and communicating

expectations effectively.

• Identify and address gaps between the deliverables and the agreed-upon requirements.

System Design and Architecture Guidance:

• Provide recommendations on technology stacks, databases, and infrastructure to ensure

scalability and cost efficiency.● Evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with technical requirements and business

goals.

• Oversee the integration of various modules into a seamless, user-friendly platform.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the platform meets functional,

technical, and user-experience standards.

• Facilitate testing phases and provide feedback to development teams for improvements.

Cost and Feasibility Analysis:

• Assess development costs and budgets for the software platform.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions in terms of cost, scalability, and

performance.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare detailed documentation for requirements, process flows, and system

architecture.

• Create reports on project progress, challenges, and deliverable evaluations for

stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related

field.

• MBA or equivalent (preferred).

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Product Manager, or a

similar role in software development.

Proven track record of successfully implementing complex software solutions

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in system design, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project

management.

Knowledge of technology stacks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java) and databases (e.g.,

MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Familiarity with software costing, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and API

integrations.
