Associate Vice President - Credit/Corporate Credit

Roles & Responsibilities:

Corporate Underwriting & Risk Assessment:

- Assess corporate financials, key ratios, cash flow, ALM, and overall risk exposure.

- Determine the right pricing and tenure for lending based on risk evaluation and market insights.

- Engage with corporates and NBFCs to gather critical financial and business information.

- Develop expertise in industry sectors, analyzing trends and potential risks.

- Structure deals that align with the company's credit policies and risk appetite.

Portfolio Monitoring & Market Intelligence:

- Continuously monitor corporates where exposure has been taken (or down-sold NCDs).

- Ensure compliance with covenants and financial conditions imposed on borrowers.

- Keep track of market news and macroeconomic factors that could impact risk.

- Leverage industry networks to gather credit insights on potential and existing borrowers.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Credit Underwriting, particularly in corporate and NBFC underwriting.

- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit monitoring (CA background preferred).

- Experience in underwriting NCDs and wealth-based credit risk assessment.

- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to structure deals effectively.

- Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with internal & external teams.

- Well-connected in the industry to gain market intelligence and credit insights.
