The purpose of the IT Change Manager role is to manage the activities of the MUFG Pension and Market Services IT Change Management process and to minimize the impact of IT changes on the production environment and day to day business operations.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
Develop, implement, and maintain IT Change Management processes.
Provide advice and guidance on change management policy and process to internal & external stakeholders.
Review and assess IT changes across multiple IT platforms and technologies.
Identify and prevent adverse impacts that may result from planned changes.
Work collaboratively with change owners to ensure the impacts of changes to any of the components supporting enterprise applications are understood and managed to maintain defined service levels.
Operational Management
Liaise with Vendors and 3rd party providers to plan and prepare changes.
Ensure individual Requests for Change (RFC s) have been appropriately tested, documented, resourced, and scheduled.
Develop and maintain an IT Forward Schedule of Change calendar.
Schedule and facilitate IT Change Advisory Board meetings including chairing meetings when required.
Ensure all Requests for Change (RFC s) are approved by the Change Advisory Board (CAB) prior to implementation.
Provide updates on the status of current changes.
Facilitate and document change Post Implementation Reviews (PIR s).
Define relevant reporting metrics and produce regular reporting on these metrics.
Governance & Risk
Adhere to all MUFG Retirement Solutions standards, policies and procedures.
Ensure all changes are in compliance with IT change management processes.

Experience & Personal Attributes
Experience
Overall 10+ years experience with Minimum of 7+ years in IT Change Control experience in a multi-platform environment.
ITIL Foundation Certificate
ITIL Release Control & Validation
ITIL Operational Support & Analysis
Experience in and knowledge of network and server infrastructure architecture and components.
Experience in network and operating system software installation and configuration.

Well-developed interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
Ability to represent changes to the CAB and chair change meetings.
Effectively communicate with the global teams/stakeholders all the information related to changes.
