Main Teacher Mathematics

Billabong High International School (Male, Maldives) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Main Teacher Mathematics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students at various levels and helping them develop their skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning.

Job Requirements

• A bachelors degree (MNQF Level 7) in Mathematics or a relevant qualification in the subject area.
• A Diploma (MNQF 5) or a higher teaching qualification certificate.
• Must be proficient in English language (speaking and writing).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of subject concepts and principles.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching strategies.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Relevant experience in teaching Mathematics (IGCSE & A' Level).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Masters degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Teaching experience in an international school and demonstrate knowledge of Cambridge Mathematics syllabus.

Salary and benefits

• MVR 14,000.00 - MVR 23,000.00 per month
