Inventory Analyst

Job Summary:

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for optimizing inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing data, tracking inventory movements, and working with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand and avoid stockouts or excess inventory. The ideal candidate will use advanced Excel skills and inventory management software to provide actionable insights and maintain accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Control Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and refine inventory control processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Track inventory levels and identify areas for improvement in stock management.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Use Advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to create detailed reports on inventory performance and trends.

3. Supply Level Monitoring & Shortage Prevention :

• Regularly check inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to spot potential shortages.
• Work with procurement and production teams to avoid stockouts and maintain smooth operations.

4. Stock Management for All Channels:

• Ensure adequate stock for multiple sales channels (e.g., retail, e-commerce) to meet customer demand.
• Balance inventory across various locations to optimize availability and minimize overstock.

5. Data Tracking & Reporting:

• Record daily deliveries, shipments, and inventory movements to maintain up-to-date and accurate stock data.
• Strong command of Excel and other analytical systems, to analyze trends and generate reports for management.

6. Replenishment & Ordering:

• Monitor inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock, placing timely orders with suppliers as needed.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective deals.

7. Collaboration & Reporting:

• Coordinate with procurement, and production teams to meet business goals.
• Report on inventory performance, stock levels, and any issues to upper management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Commerce.
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory management.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with systems.
• Good communication skills and commercial / Business under standing.
• Ready to travel on sites when required
