This role is based for our Plant in Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, SBQ Limited
Role & responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including first level budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Responsible for cost control and management that would include inventory management and capital expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and timely submission of tax returns and financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for annual audits.
- Work with procurement team to ensure the best financial terms are obtained.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for cost optimization and financial planning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems).
- Analytical skills for financial data analysis and reporting.
Educational Background and Work Experience
- CA/ICWA/MBA in Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance and accounts preferably from plant location.
