Job Summary:We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Manager Business Development with proven expertise in team management and delivering on P&L objectives.
In this role, you will oversee sales metrics, lead sales operations, and build a high-performing team to achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Target Achievement:
- Recruit, build, and lead a sales/business development team to achieve and exceed assigned targets.
- Motivate and manage a team of 10+ associates, fostering a high-performance culture.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Design and continuously optimize the sales funnel to improve conversion rates at every stage.
- Implement analytics-driven sales dashboards to monitor performance, track metrics, and forecast future pipelines.
Performance Management:
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline reviews, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing workshops to ensure continuous improvement.
Business Development:
- Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients through direct outreach and prospecting.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet revenue goals.
Market Insights and Strategy:
- Gather and analyze feedback on customer experiences, market demands, and competitor activity.
- Share actionable insights with the marketing team to refine strategies and offerings.
What You'll Need?
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of post-MBA experience in a sales management role (Ed-tech experience preferred) OR 5+ years of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving aggressive targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding people management skills with experience leading teams of 10+ associates.
