Subject Matter Expert (Payment Domain)

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Payments to lead the delivery of payment ecosystems for a

leading bank. Strong technical background, extensive knowledge of the payment ecosystem in

Saudi Arabia, and familiarity with SWIFT for international payments and remittance systems. This

role focuses on the technical delivery of payment applications and ecosystems, ensuring alignment with the bank & strategic goals.

• Lead the delivery of payment applications and ecosystems in the bank.
• Design, develop, and implement payment solutions that align with local and internationa payment standards.
• Ensure seamless integration of payment systems with the bank& core infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership in payment program management, including remittance and SWIFT based international payment systems.
• Evaluate and select appropriate payment technologies and platforms for the banks needs.
• Develop and maintain expertise in the payment landscape in Saudi Arabia, including regulator requirements and compliance standards.
• Work closely with senior leaders to deliver core banking systems, including payments and cards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in payment systems
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful implementation.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of payment programs.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

Desired Skills

• Minimum Bachelor Degree.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in payments technology and program delivery within the banking sector.
• Proven track record of managing payment ecosystems and delivering payment solutions in Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on experience with SWIFT and remittance systems is essential.
• Deep understanding of payment systems, platforms, and integration with core banking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of payment regulations and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia and international standards.
• Preferably certified in project management
