About the role :

Lentra is seeking Technology Specialists with 8 + years of hands-on web services development experience. You will work within the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release. Responsibilities include gathering system and user requirements, designing solutions, building Java/NodeJS modules, and testing features before release. Owning the code as it is deployed in production.

Responsibilities :

- Identify and analyse user requirements

- Prioritise, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle

- Develop Java EE / Node.js based web services

- Write well designed, efficient, scalable, diagnosable and maintainable code

- Review, test and debug team members design and code

- Design data layout within cache and database

- Schedule product releases with internal teams

- Document development phases

- Ensure engineering best practices are followed all the way through

- Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date

- Handle Releases and Deployments

Candidate requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in developing applications

- Core Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Node.js

- Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery,

- MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL

- Experience of leading a team.

- Responsible for mentoring junior developers with code reviews design reviews and unit tests

- Develop and unit test application programs as specified in Technical design

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing while interacting with internal and external

clients, peers, management, and other teams to build relationships and use facilitation skills with both

technical and non-technical personnel

- Basic DevOps knowledge
